🎮 Section 1: How the Game Works (The Foundation of TFT)

Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is an auto-battler strategy game from Riot Games, where you compete against seven other players by building a team of champions that fight automatically.

🔹 Your Goal:

Outlast all opponents by strategically placing and upgrading units on your board.

🕹 Basic Gameplay Loop:

  1. Pick a Champion (Carousel Round)

    • Every match starts with a shared draft round (carousel). Choose a champion with an item component.

  2. Gain Gold and Buy Units

    • You’ll earn gold each round (win/lose streaks give bonuses).

    • Use gold to buy champions from a shop of 5 random units.

    • Buying 3 of the same champion upgrades it to 2-star (then 3-star).

  3. Build a Team

    • Combine champions with the same traits (origins and classes) to activate synergies.

    • Examples:

      • 3 Noxus = Bonus health and AP

      • 2 Slayer = Bonus lifesteal and attack speed

  4. Items & Positioning

    • Equip items onto your strongest units.

    • Position units based on their role:

      • Tanks in front

      • Carries in the back

      • Assassins near the edge for flanking

  5. Survive the Fight

    • Each round is a 1v1 match against another player or neutral monsters.

    • If your board loses, you take damage.

    • The last player standing wins!

💡 Beginner Tip: Don’t re-roll your shop too much early on. Focus on building economy (interest gold) to save for stronger units later.

Building Your Strategy (Mid to Late Game Mastery)

Once you’ve got the hang of the basics, it’s time to dive deeper into the strategy behind TFT.

📈 1. Economy & Leveling

  • Interest Gold: You gain +1 gold for every 10 gold you save (up to +5 gold).

  • Leveling Up: Higher levels increase your chances to find rare champions.

    • Use early rounds to build economy.

    • Around Stage 3-2, level to 6 and start building your team.

    • At Stage 4-1 or 4-2, consider going to level 7 or 8 for late-game carries.

🛠️ 2. Itemization

  • Items are randomized, but knowing which items work well on which champions is critical.

    • Example: Infinity Edge and Jeweled Gauntlet on a spell crit champion like Ahri.

    • Warmog's Armor or Sunfire Cape on tanks like Shen or Sejuani.

Item Priority Tip: Combine your best items and place them on units you're confident you'll use long-term.

🔄 3. Rolling Strategies

  • Slow Roll (at level 5 or 6):

    • Great for 1-cost and 2-cost champion comps.

    • Stay at a level where your unit is most common and roll with 50+ gold.

  • Fast 8 Strategy:

    • Level to 8 quickly (by Stage 4-2) and roll for strong 4- and 5-cost champions.

  • Don’t contest heavily-contested comps unless you have an early lead.

  • Adapt your comp to:
